Few of us have the time to search for the most useful websites for writers, so it's helpful that for the past six years, followers of The Write Life nominate the best 100, which are listed here:
All sites are listed in alphabetical order within these categories, with numbers for ease of reading (not ranking). Take a look and subscribe to your favourites.

The #AuthorToolboxBlogHop is a monthly event on the topic of resources and learning for authors. Feel free to hop around to the various blogs and see what you learn! The rules and sign-up form are below the list of hop participants. All authors at all stages of their careers are welcome to join in.
This reminded me how behind on keeping up with craft podcasts. I love the last one on this list: writing excuses. Great post, Tony!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this great resource reference Tony. Happy Hop Day.
ReplyDeleteGreat list and most of them new to me. And--your books look interesting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jacqui :)
DeleteThis resource is getting bookmarked! Thanks Tony!
ReplyDeleteA great resource!
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to a lot of those blogs through Feedly, but may have to add more.
I also look at the Writer's Digest Top 100 sites each year (although they tend have the same sites year after year).
I'd add the #AuthorToolBoxBlogHop bloggers as a great resource :)
I have that list bookmarked. There's so much good stuff there I can procrastinate from writing for hours.
